For our client, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will help strengthen cloud infrastructure, deployment reliability, and system performance across a modern technology environment. The engineer will partner closely with development and cross-functional teams to support scalable services and improve operational maturity. With a focus on automation, observability, and site reliability, this position will directly contribute to dependable software delivery and high-availability systems.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $180,000 - $190,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux environment
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to provide DevOps support
• Develop backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL
• Automate cloud infrastructure management with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery
• Implement monitoring solutions to identify and resolve performance issuesApply SRE practices to support system reliability and incident response

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles with AWS expertise
• 3+ years of backend development experience in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS
• Proven experience in infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions
• Proficient in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic
• Demonstrated success applying Site Reliability Engineering practices for high availability and performance
• Strong debugging skills across application layers and cloud infrastructure
