Formación

• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Linux or Windows system administration.
• At least 2 years hands-on Elasticsearch experience.
• 2+ years working with Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong understanding of scalable cloud infrastructure and design.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy, provision, and secure AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, CloudWatch, VPC).
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters across environments.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and patch management for cloud and on‑premise.
• Maintain secure architecture and best practices for operations.
• Collaborate with peers and customers to optimize performance and scalability.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join MANTECH's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and securing cloud resources primarily on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud services, automation, and system administration, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working with SQL databases.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Linux or Windows system administration.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience working with Elasticsearch.
• Proven experience of 2 or more years working with Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong understanding of systems design, scalability, and cloud infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, provision, and secure AWS resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, CloudWatch, and VPC, including database sizing, management, and server security enhancements.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure seamless development workflows across multiple environments.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, apply patches to physical and cloud infrastructure, manage VPNs, and ensure SSL/TLS certificates are up-to-date and compliant.
• Maintain and update software architecture, focusing on secure infrastructure enhancements, system design, operational best practices, and proactive innovation.
• Collaborate closely with peers and customers in a fast-paced environment to optimize system performance and scalability.
