This exciting role within our growing Platform Engineering group will provide you with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the design, and build out of the firm’s automation strategy. At BAM, you will have the chance to work with some of the most talented and driven professionals in the industry.

As a DevOps Engineer at BAM, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain software delivery processes which enhance developer autonomy and provide repeatable patterns
• Lead DevOps best practices with a Subject Matter Expert mindset; stay updated on the latest trends upholding high engineering standards
• Develop and promote the firm's DevOps strategy; build relationships with investment, business and tech partners for continuous improvement
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines; write code for infrastructure optimization; manage operations, including on-call duties, Kubernetes, and training

To be considered a good fit, you must have:

• 3-7+ years of experience in architecting/implementing automation and infrastructure as code
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Expertise in CI/CD design and platforms, as-code approach to infrastructure and configuration
• Software engineering experience with a true understanding of well-architected software platforms
• Distributed systems experience, across a multi-platform estate with a strong depth of understanding of Kubernetes

With respect to NY and CA based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $150000 and $200000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
