Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. seeks a seasoned DevOps/Software Engineer to drive automation across the secure lifecycle. You will lead CI/CD, infrastructure management and configuration, while enhancing compliance and security posture across projects.

The role emphasizes delivering scalable automation enabling multiple teams to work efficiently, with strong emphasis on cloud and security tooling.

Qualifications

• 7 years of software engineer experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance required.
• Linux system administration knowledge (Centos7, RedHat8).
• Experience with Docker, Python scripting, GitLab, Ansible, NiFi.

Responsibilities

• The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, CI, environment configuration and deployment and support the project’s security posture.
• Deliver the automation that enables all teams to operate smoothly.

Job Description

• As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment as well as supporting the project’s compliance and security posture.
• The team member shall focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.

• AWS, C2S, or other cloud experience

Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 annually
