Job summary

DevOps Engineer

IBM Corporation

(Up to 100% telecommuting permitted) Work in an agile environment, attend stand-ups, update work progress, and communicate regularly with stakeholders.

Develop automated configuration management processes and pipelines for deployments.

Deliver production-ready infrastructure, work on complex problems, and provide innovative solutions.

Employ version control systems like Git, build automation tools, and deployment automation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Design and implement automation software for infrastructure as code and administer cloud providers.

Debug and analyze application monitoring and log monitoring.

Evaluate and identify issues at a code level.

Work with cross-functional teams and create dashboards and reports for management and other stakeholders.

Utilize: Terraform, Datadog, Python, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub (for GitOps).

Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Consultant, Software Engineer or related.

One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Terraform, Datadog, Python, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub (for GitOps).

$160285 to $209500 per year.
