Job summary
Medpace, a leading CRO headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure and automate deployment and testing processes.
The role requires Azure expertise, DevOps experience, and strong problem-solving skills to collaborate with development teams and improve software delivery while ensuring performance and security across our cloud environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT
- 3+ years of experience in Azure
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps
- Experience with build automation frameworks (Github, Azure DevOps), IaC tooling (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), container tech (Kubernetes, Docker), and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.
- Automate software deployment and testing processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery.
- Monitor infrastructure for performance and security issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.

- Auditing and policy-writing experience.
