The Opportunity:

As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for a DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions.

As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll sharpen your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions.

You Have:

1. 5+ years of experience with DevOps technologies and supporting systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration
2. 5+ years of experience with developing scripts to automate IT processes or with object-oriented software development
3. 5+ years of experience with automating system configurations, managing network operations, and DevOps pipelines in cloud
4. 2+ years of experience creating, managing, deploying, and securing containers using automation pipelines, Kubernetes, or Helm
5. Experience with Linux foundations
6. Experience with container orchestration
7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef

Nice If You Have:

1. 2+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux, Keycloak, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
2. Experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments
3. Experience with enterprise networking, including gateway management and DNS entries
4. Experience creating, managing, and scaling Kubernetes storage solutions and SSL certificate management environments
5. Experience supporting and debugging applications
6. Experience supporting cloud applications in AWS GovCloud or milCloud environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
