Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Austin, TX seeks a DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and maintain containerized platforms. You will implement Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, manage CI/CD pipelines, and integrate Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

The role requires hands-on experience with Helm, Argo CD, Rancher/RKE, monitoring via Prometheus and Grafana, and strong deployment practices including blue-green and canary strategies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Working knowledge of RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine) and Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with Jira for agile project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning.
• Experience with application deployments, rollouts, blue-green and canary strategies.
• Platform Design Document: Detailed architecture for the OpenShift platform and supporting services.
