Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a DevOps/Platform engineer to design and operate scalable Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure with Terraform.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana, plus Jira for Agile planning.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Job description

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Working knowledge of RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine) and Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Argo CD
• Familiarity with Jira for agile project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning
• Experience with application deployments, rollouts, blue-green and canary strategies
• Platform Design Document: Detailed architecture for the OpenShift platform and supporting services.
