Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable container orchestration platform. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, implementing IaC with Terraform and deploying via Helm and Argo CD.

You will monitor platforms using Prometheus and Grafana, manage clusters with Rancher/RKE, and collaborate with teams through Jira for agile planning. The role emphasizes robust CI/CD and reliable deployment strategies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
• Familiar with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
• Experience with Rancher/OpenShift cluster management (RKE).

• Knowledge of blue-green and canary deployment strategies.

• Working knowledge of RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine) and Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Argo CD
• Familiarity with Jira for agile project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning
• Experience with application deployments, rollouts, blue-green and canary strategies
• Platform Design Document: Detailed architecture for the OpenShift platform and supporting services.
