Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years successful DevOps team management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years managing Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, or Ubuntu).
• Minimum of 2 years experience with service-oriented architectures, software-development life cycle, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficient with Git, automation concepts, and tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledgeable about cloud (AWS, Azure) and container concepts.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative team spirit, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
• High work ethic, results-oriented mindset, and strong leadership capability.

Take the lead in shaping the future of logistics technology in North America as Director of DevOps. You will report to the Head of Engineering and guide a talented DevOps team through automation‑driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the DevOps team, driving excellence in project management, tooling decisions, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Manage complex tasks with minimal guidance, ensuring critical infrastructure components—servers, databases, hosted services, load balancers—are reliable, adaptable, and resilient.
• Handle incident escalation and rapid resolution, continuously improving systems to guarantee service availability.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to implement specialized tools and pipelines for AWS and Azure environments.
• Contribute to the internal peer‑learning platform by sharing expertise and teaching a class every six months.
• Lead the onboarding process for new DevOps team members and establish schedules and priorities for their success.
• Participate in HR recruitment activities, identifying and attracting top‑tier DevOps talent.
