Job summary

Linchpin Software LLC in Chantilly, VA is hiring a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and operate the platform that our software teams depend on. You will manage Kubernetes clusters, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-managed cloud infrastructure, and air-gapped on-prem environments.

This role requires active Top Secret/TS-SCI or Intel Agency clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 10+ years in DevOps or cloud engineering.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret, TS/SCI, or Intel Agency clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or software engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience.
• CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab CI/CD preferred).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• AWS or Azure cloud experience.
• Scripting or coding in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: AWS GovCloud, SC2S, or C2S.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab from commit to production.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Run and harden Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Build and operate AWS cloud environments (GovCloud / C2S experience a plus).
• Support air-gapped, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with developers to improve build speed, reliability, security, and observability.
