Job summary

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in Desktop Support or System Admin and experience with cloud, network, and endpoint management. Hybrid work is 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Desktop Support or System Admin role.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure environment and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and related services.
• Handle hardware provisioning and endpoint management (laptops, monitors, switches, routers).
• Monitor and maintain office network appliances and security devices; perform remediation as directed.
• Coordinate HIPAA compliance training and IT audits with stakeholders and MSP.

DevSecOps Cloud Engineer

This is a servant leadership environment. They are a people first business. You'll find the culture to be conservative, professional, collaborative. This role will actively work with participants, vendors, and in-house teams, to support platform engineering and IT services. The candidate will be a member of a small agile team that values quality and collaboration. As a member of the team, the candidate will interact with stakeholders of the business, including customers, management, vendors, and technical staff. IT sits with the Product team, there's 1 IT person and a contract person, this is an addition to the team. They also have an outside MSP firm this person will work with, they handle the majority of the Cloud and network infrastructure but this person will work hand and hand with them.

Responsibilities and Technical Requirements

• Azure Environment Management
• Microsoft Entra ID management
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Hardware provisioning (laptops, monitors, switch and router) they have 30-35 desktops internally. They have 1 rack for servers.
• Endpoint management Monitor and maintain office network appliances (switch, router and security devices), and virtual appliances Perform cloud, network and endpoint remediation as directed
• Manage HIPAA Compliance training, IT audits (participate) and keep up with compliance updates.
• Experience 3-5 years of experience in Desktop Support or System Admin role
• They'd love someone out of healthcare, but it's not a deal breaker
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically:
• Virtual machines
• Hybrid connectivity, VPN gateways
• Application gateways
• Alerts and monitoring
• Storage management
• Container Architecture
• Azure Kubernetes Service
• Experience with Cybersecurity Frameworks
• Experience configuring TCP/IP, VPN, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams
• Experience with cloud PBX and VoIP XML and HL7 experience is a plus (V2 ADT messages or V3 CCD messages)

Location Houston, TX candidates or those willing to relocate will be considered.

This business works hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
