Job summary

Sword Iberia is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect with a strong focus on internal support, automation, Azure environments, security, and infrastructure. The role involves Terraform/OpenTofu and Docker, plus experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.

You will work on CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices in a fully remote setup. The ideal candidate has Shell/Python scripting skills, security awareness, and familiarity with ISO 27001/ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, and major cloud platforms.
• Shell scripting and Python in a DevSecOps context.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support internal teams and automation initiatives with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu and manage Azure environments and other cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts and Python utilities for DevSecOps workflows.
• Promote security best practices and compliance with ISO 27001/ISO 9001 standards across projects.

We highly value additional experience with Terraform, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Shell/Python scripting, DevSecOps environments, and ISO 27001.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OVH).
• Experience developing Shell scripts and Python in a DevSecOps context.
• Security awareness and a willingness to share security best practices with colleagues.
• Good knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with CI/CD and pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.

Nice to Have

• DevOps or Cloud Architect certification from one of the major cloud providers.
