Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance cloud infrastructure and deployment processes in a fully remote role. You will streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure as code, and improve the reliability and security of cloud environments.

You will work independently from Welkom or any suitable remote location, collaborating with development and operations teams to accelerate software delivery while implementing best practices for monitoring, performance, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes and ensure system reliability.
• Implement security best practices across the cloud environment.

You will be responsible for streamlining development operations, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our cloud environments.
