Job summary

OSC Edge is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to design, implement, and manage automation across our infrastructure. The role requires on-site presence in Augusta, GA and involves collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to secure and streamline CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, and virtualization platforms to deliver scalable automation solutions, IaC, and reliable deployments while maintaining security best practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Secret security clearance required; eligible for Top-Secret with SCI.
• Valid Security+ certification required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on virtualization experience.
• Extensive automation tool experience including Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manages infrastructure as code to ensure reproducible deployments.
• Implements CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrates automated testing and deployment to ensure high-quality releases.
• Collaborates with development and operations teams for seamless delivery of applications.
• Monitors performance, availability, and security of automated systems.
• Optimizes automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoots automation-related issues and CI/CD pipelines.
• Works with security and operations to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
• Provides training and documentation to support adoption of automation technologies.
• Implements security best practices within automation solutions and ensures policy compliance.
