Job summary

OSC Edge in Augusta, GA is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer to design, implement, and manage automation across infrastructure and applications. The role emphasizes CI/CD, IaC, and scalable systems.

You will work with Terraform, Ansible, and diverse tooling, maintain strong security practices, and collaborate with development and security teams. A Secret clearance with eligibility for Top-Secret/SCI and Security+ is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Must possess and maintain Secret Security Clearance, with eligibility for Top-Secret/SCI.
• Security+ certification is required.
• At least 1 year of hands-on virtualization experience.
• Extensive experience with automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manages infrastructure as code for consistent deployments.
• Implements and maintains CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
• Integrates automated testing and deployment processes for high-quality releases.
• Collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to deliver applications.
• Oversees cloud and on‑prem infrastructure with virtualization platforms.
• Monitors performance, availability, and security of automated systems.
• Optimizes automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoots automation processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Creates documentation and conducts training on automation technologies.
• Ensures security best practices and regulatory compliance in automation activities.
