Job summary
Steris Corporation in Florida is seeking a Device Repair Technician to inspect, repair and refurbish surgical instruments and devices in a lab setting.
You will perform basic to intermediate repairs, test assemblies, document inspections, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while delivering timely customer-focused service.
The role requires 2+ years of repair experience, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and flexibility to work varying shifts; Steris offers competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 1 year of experience at STERIS; verifiable.
- Hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing with small hand tools is a plus.
- Experience with related trades or certifications may count toward experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs basic to intermediate levels of repairs of surgical devices/instruments to specifications.
- Identifies problems, tests mechanisms, replaces or repairs defective parts; requests parts as needed.
- Reassembles devices and tests assembly for conformance to specifications.
- Adheres to safety policies and maintains ISO compliance objectives.
