Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Device Identity and Access product teams. You will guide a cross-functional group spanning client-side platforms (iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, Android) and cloud services, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

This role requires 10+ years in enterprise software and at least 3 years in leadership, with strong security focus and Java/Spring Boot experience.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
At least 3 years in formal engineering leadership/management roles.
Extensive background in massive-scale, multi-tenant SaaS apps (Java/Spring Boot).
Strong understanding of client-side development (iOS, macOS, Windows, Linux, Android).
Deep understanding of endpoint security concepts (TPMs, Secure Enclaves, MDM protocols, continuous risk evaluation).
Cross-platform context: how OS security features report to the cloud.
Exceptional communication skills with executives; influence architecture.
Experience with modern engineering practices and AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire: Motivate a cross-functional team of engineers with collaboration and excellence.
Drive the Vision: Define long-term technical vision with Directors, Architects, and PMs.
Ensure Technical Excellence: Guide architecture, code reviews, and reliability.
Build the Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers with clear career paths.
Execute with Precision: Plan sprints, manage dependencies, deliver security features on time.
Cross-Pillar Impact: Act as a technical stakeholder within the Access Management Pillar.
