Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Yield Analysis & Improvement staff to own end-to-end yield across wafer sort, parametric, and final testing. Leverage data mining, statistics, and machine learning to identify yield limiters and build automated analytics pipelines.

The role partners with Process Integration, Module, and Design teams to reduce variability, set KPIs, mentor junior engineers, and report yield health to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor yield or process integration preferred.
• Foundry background with FinFET/GAA architectures is a plus.
• Strong data-driven problem-solving and modeling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end yield performance across wafer sort, parametric, and final testing.
• Collaborate with Process Integration, Module, and Design teams to reduce variability and improve process windows.
• Lead root-cause investigations with Failure Analysis teams and drive corrective actions for yield excursions.
