Job summary

CloudIngest INC is seeking a Device & Embedded Systems Architect to lead architecture for Android-based embedded devices and IoT platforms. You will own OTA update infrastructure, device security, and telemetry pipelines, coordinating with ODM/OEM partners and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in software with 5+ years in embedded/mobile, strong Android expertise, and proven leadership in architecture and secure, scalable device platforms for 100,000+ devices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with 5+ years in Embedded Systems, Device Software, or Mobile Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on Android/AOSP experience, including HAL, system apps, SELinux, Verified Boot, and dm-verity.
• Production experience with OTA update infrastructure.
• MDM/EMM experience managing devices at scale.
• Device telemetry experience with MQTT, CoAP, HTTPS, and cloud ingestion.
• Strong architecture documentation and technical leadership skills.

Pay Rate: $65/hr. on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Device & Embedded Systems Architect to lead the architecture of Android-based embedded devices, IoT platforms, device management, telemetry, and OTA update infrastructure. This role will define technical standards and architecture for secure, scalable, and maintainable device platforms supporting 100,000+ devices.
