Job summary

TechDigital Group in Cleveland seeks a Solution Architect (M/SM level) to front-end the customer in the Cleveland area for this program. You will own end-to-end architecture for device stabilization, including OS optimization with Yocto Linux and systemd, and hardware watchdog integration on NXP i.MX6 ARM hardware.

You will chair the architecture council, review designs from embedded, .NET, cloud, and DevOps teams, and establish standards for OTA firmware delivery and integration across streams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Yocto Linux build systems on ARM-based embedded platforms.
• Strong knowledge of systemd service management and Linux OS optimization.
• Experience with IoT device fleet management and OTA firmware delivery in production environments.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core microservices and lightweight IPC frameworks such as ZeroMQ or D-Bus.
• Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences, or similar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for device stabilization including OS optimization (Yocto Linux, systemd, hardware watchdog).
• Chair the cross-stream architecture council and produce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Review and approve technical designs from engineers across all workstreams.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, OTA firmware delivery practices, and integration checkpoints across workstreams.
