SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a hardware software engineer to develop and maintain device drivers for display, I2C, UART, GPIO, GPS, Gyro, USB, video and audio. The role includes integrating 3rd party software such as MOST and WiFi drivers and defining software requirements from customer specs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Android HAL for hardware control and holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher. The position targets professionals working on automotive-grade Android platforms.

Formación

• Experience with Android HAL for hardware control (GPS, Gyro, display).
• Bachelor’s or higher degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain hardware drivers for display, I2C, UART, GPIO, GPS, Gyro, USB, video and audio.
• Integrate 3rd party software such as MOST and WiFi drivers.
• Define software requirements based on customer specifications.

Hardware configuration such as DDR, eMMC

Integrate 3rd party software such MOST, WiFi drivers

Develop Android HAL for hardware control such as GPS, Gyro, display etc.

Define software requirement based on customer’s specification

Experience with latest Android such as Android O MR1 (Automotive)

Experience Intel platform such as Apollo Lake

Qualifications
