Job summary

Clearbrook's CDS Riley in Rolling Meadows, IL seeks a Developmental Trainer to support clients in Community Integrated Living arrangements. This full-time role offers weekday hours, a stable schedule, and paid training.

You will provide transportation, accompany clients to appointments, support daily living skills, and promote safety and respectful interactions as part of individualized programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Providing transportation services to clients living in Community Integrated Living Arrangement locations or CILAs.
• Attending appointments with the clients if needed.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients being transported.
• Providing supervision for clients in socialization and hygiene skills per their program plan.
• Taking initiative and remaining flexible during unexpected situations and emergencies.
• Maintaining a respectful, friendly, and supportive atmosphere for clients' growth.

Pay:$21.35/hour +Paid Training!

• Providing transportation services to the clients living in any of our various Community Integrated Living Arrangement locations, or CILA’s.
• Attending appointments with the clients if needed.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of any clients being transported.
• Providing supervision for clients in general socialization and hygiene skills, in accordance with the client’s individualized program plan.
• Taking initiative and allowing for flexibility when faced with unexpected situations, problems, tasks, and/or emergency situations.
• Maintaining a respectful, friendly, and supportive atmosphere, conducive to the clients’ overall growth and development.
