Job summary

Logan Community Resources is seeking a Developmental Therapist for Early Learning Partnerships in St. Joseph County to integrate therapeutic strategies into classrooms and document supports for teachers and families.

The role includes administering developmental screenings, providing Early Intervention Therapies for birth to age 3, and planning individualized family service plans with parents and agencies to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development, special education, early childhood education, or nursing per Indiana First Steps requirements.
• Experience with infants/toddlers (0–3) preferred.
• Must be licensed in Indiana as a First Steps Provider.

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement teaching strategies for Early Learning Programs based on child needs.
• Support and coach caregivers and teachers to meet goals.
• Visit and consult with community partners and families as needed.
• Prepare Individualized Family Service Plans with parents and agencies.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports on child development.
