Job summary

May Institute is seeking a Developmental Specialist (Classroom Lead) for the Adult Day Habilitation Program in Raynham, MA, with Randolph, MA as an alternate site. This full-time role focuses on helping adults with developmental disabilities gain independence within a supportive classroom setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, with behavioral experience preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to work independently and in a team are important.

Qualifications

• Behavioral experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with two years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities to promote independence and skill development.
• Implement behavioral support plans and track progress.
• Assist with personal care needs, including hygiene and dining.
• Provide safe transportation for community outings.
• Maintain safety and compliance with program policies and state regulations.
