Job summary

Port Angeles School District is seeking a Developmental Preschool Paraprofessional to assist in a nurturing, inclusive classroom at Dry Creek Elementary. You will support students with developmental and special education needs, help implement IEP goals, and promote independence and safety.

You will collaborate with teachers and service providers to deliver developmentally appropriate activities, support communication, social-emotional learning, and personal care needs as required.

Qualifications

Developmental Preschool Paraprofessional:

Supports preschool students with developmental and special education needs in an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. Assists the teacher with implementing IEP goals, classroom routines, communication, social-emotional learning, behavior support, personal care including diapering and bathroom support, and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Works collaboratively with teachers and service providers to promote student independence, safety, engagement, and growth.
