Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver services to children in our clinical practice. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Illinois state licensure and EI credentials are required/preferred as described in the posting.
• Experience with pediatric speech-language pathology and diverse pediatric populations is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an independent clinical practice or be part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide speech and language evaluations and ongoing therapy for children from birth through adolescence.
• Deliver services for children served by Early Intervention Outreach Program.
• Develop and implement individual intervention plans and IFSP/IEP accommodations.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to support child development and family well-being.
• Follow treatment programs to improve patient function and participation.
