Holding Hands Inc. in Burbank, CA is seeking a part-time Developmental Interventionist to deliver DIR/Floortime‑based sessions across home, school, clinic, and community settings. You will work with a collaborative clinical team to support social, emotional, and developmental progress through individualized play-based interactions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation. Prior DIR/Floortime/ABA experience is a plus.

At Holding Hands, our Developmental Interventionists use relationship-based approaches to help individuals grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally. As a Developmental Interventionist, you will deliver individualized care using the DIR®/Floortime™ model across home, school, clinic, and community settings while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities as a Developmental Interventionist

• Provide 1:1 DIR®/Floortime™ intervention


• Facilitate social, emotional, and developmental growth through play-based interactions

What We’re Looking For

Developmental Interventionist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field)

• 1 year of experience in a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DIR®/Floortime™, ABA, or early childhood development


• Master’s degree in a related field


• Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences
