Job summary

Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri (CCSOMO) is seeking a Quality Assurance Outreach Specialist to ensure high standards of care in Developmental Disability Services across Dunklin and Butler Counties. The role involves reviewing case management practices, managing utilization requests, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or equivalent human services degree; OR RN licensure.
• Two years of experience in case management in a human service field.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide scope of activities for Developmental Disabilities Support Coordination services across two counties.
• Collaborate with program staff to provide initial and ongoing training.
• Audit ISPs, UR requests, case notes, budgets, and other documents for accuracy and timeliness.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases related to eligibility, plans, progress, and changes.
• Conduct pre-survey reviews to identify deficiencies before state reviews.
• Assist Program Managers in gathering data for reviews.
• Develop and maintain flowcharts and spreadsheets; report findings to the team.
• Manage a selected caseload of clients with intellectual/developmental disabilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide a wide scope of activities for Developmental Disabilities Support Coordination services for a two-county area.
• Work closely with program staff to provide initial and ongoing training.
• Audits the accuracy and timeliness of ISPs, UR requests, case notes, budget, and other documents.
• Attends interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases in relation to eligibility, support plans, progress, and possible changes in the service program
• Conduct pre-survey reviews to identify and correct deficiencies before SMH/CMS/MMAC reviews.
• Assist Program Managers in gathering data for reviews.
• Develop and maintain flowcharts and spreadsheets, tracking data and reporting findings to the team.
• As needed, manage a selected caseload of clients with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities in placement or natural homes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
