Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team in Minnesota. You will design and implement IEPs and collaborate closely with staff, families, and therapists to support every student's growth.

• License with endorsements in Special Education
• Experience working with K-12 children

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student
• Communicate with staff and families about progress and struggles
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit to administrators for approval
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress
• Invite family members to participate in educational progress
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly
• Confer with on-site therapist regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment
