Job summary

Cambrian Homecare, Inc. in Newport Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities through one-to-one in-home care. You will engage clients in activities they enjoy, reinforce positive behaviors, and help families manage daily living tasks.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Background check, live scan, and reference checks required.
Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities to relieve family members from daily living activities.
Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
Provide crisis intervention with the client's safety in mind.
Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
