Job summary

Cambrian Homecare, Inc. in Newport Beach is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities through one-to-one in-home care. You will engage clients in activities they enjoy, reinforce positive behaviors, and help families manage daily living tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Background check, live scan, and reference checks required.
• Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities to relieve family members from daily living activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
• Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
• Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
• Provide crisis intervention with the client's safety in mind.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.

Hourly Wage: Pay rate is based upon assigned client(s) location ($19.00/hr)
