This is a chance to join a wide array of specialists to support patients and their families, including pediatric neurologists, epileptologists, child psychologists, pediatricians, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and social workers. At the heart of everything we do is a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the communities we serve.

Why Join Us?
  • Nationally Recognized System: Saint Peter's is one of New Jersey's busiest and most diverse health systems, proud of our continued Magnet designation reflecting our commitment to nursing excellence.
  • Centers of Excellence: The Children's Hospital is home to The Regional Craniofacial Center, Regional Metabolic Center, Regional Child Protection Center, and one of the largest, most advanced NICUs in the country.
  • Ideal Location: Set in the vibrant, historic city of New Brunswick - a 45-minute train ride to New York City, a 45-minute drive to the beach, and an hour from Philadelphia. Surrounded by welcoming communities, excellent schools, and quaint NJ towns.
  • Community-Centered Mission: Practice medicine that truly makes a difference. Our work is deeply embedded in the communities we serve, with a focus on patient-centered care that addresses the whole child - body, mind, and social well-being.
What We Offer:
  • Opportunity: Full Time position, Monday - Friday, with a flexible on-call schedule and after-hours pediatric call center support. You will provide clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of childhood development, behavioral, and psychosocial issues, and engage in community outreach to schools, childcare programs, and parent groups supporting the special needs population.
  • Patient-Centered Approach: individualized care to 3 new and 5 follow-up patients per day, offering 90-minute new patient visits and 30-45-minute follow-up visits for thorough care.
  • Diverse Patient Population: Serve patients 0-18 years of age across Middlesex County, NJ - one of the most diverse counties in the country - with a wide range of syndromes, genetic mutations, learning disabilities, and other conditions.
  • Practice Autonomy & Leadership: Enjoy the autonomy to practice developmental pediatrics your way, with the opportunity to build your practice and co-partner with a renowned Chief of Developmental Pediatrics. Benefit from supportive leadership and administration where your voice is heard.
  • Dedicated Support Staff: A full team supports your work: Developmental Psychologist, Social Workers, Registered Dietitian, Schedulers, Medical Assistants, and certified interpreters.
  • Multispecialty Integration: Be part of a robust multispecialty referral program ensuring coordinated, comprehensive care for your patients.
  • Academic Environment: Engage in a rich teaching environment with academic involvement with pediatric residents and students from two affiliated medical schools.
  • Career Growth: Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced physician, we offer exciting opportunities for career growth and mentorship.
  • Benefits: Our benefits package offers a competitive salary, up to 44 days of paid time off, and both 401(k) with a 5% match and 457(b) plans. Additional perks include a $3,000 CME allowance, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage. We also provide wellness programs, family caregiving support, child backup care, life and AD&D insurance, and eligibility for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness as a non-profit health system.
