Job summary

The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team. We offer a full range of GI care for children, a state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite, multidisciplinary collaboration, and a comprehensive benefits package.

We welcome both new graduates and experienced physicians and require MD/DO license in NJ with CDS and DEA, plus eligibility for hospital liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Residency and/or fellowship through an ACGME or AOA accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board.
• MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey; CDS and DEA license.
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of pediatric GI care from infancy through young adulthood, including IBD, celiac disease, GERD, and nutritional disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric surgery and pediatric subspecialists.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite and pediatric procedure space.

Pediatric Gastroenterology

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated team at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, part of The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital, provides diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gastrointestinal, digestive, liver, and nutritional problems in children.

Opportunity Highlights

• Scope of Practice: Full range of pediatric GI conditions from infancy through young adulthood, including IBD, celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, GERD, motility disorders, liver disease, and nutritional/growth disorders
• Procedures: Upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, pH/impedance studies, hydrogen breath testing, liver biopsy, and G‑tube placement
• Candidates: Welcoming new graduates and experienced physicians

Full‑time compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from $175,000.00 to $750,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre‑established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
