Gillon Property Group in Dallas is seeking a Development Underwriting Analyst to work alongside our VP of Development on front-end feasibility underwriting for ground-up development and redevelopment pipelines. This role provides rare direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the models used across the team.
You will build and update development pro formas, underwrite feasibility, support due diligence, and drive improvements to templates and standards as the platform
Location: Dallas, TX
Gillon Property Group (GPG) is a Dallas-based commercial real estate investor, developer, and operator, and the exclusive real estate platform of the Washburne family (fourth and fifth generation descendants of H. L. Hunt). For decades, the family has built a portfolio around one idea: driving long-term value by creating extraordinary places that enhance people's lives.
That shows up across some of the most iconic destinations in the country — Highland Park Village in Dallas (est. 1931), Country Club Plaza in Kansas City (est. 1922), Watters Creek Village in Allen, Texas, and Knox Street in Dallas, among more than 81 properties that have passed through the firm's hands. GPG's reputation was built on white-glove, in-house operations in retail and mixed-use, paired with a genuinely long-term investment horizon — at Highland Park Village alone, sales have grown from $500 to $3,000 per square foot since acquisition.
GPG invests with a principal-investor mindset: disciplined, long-term, and fundamentals-driven, often taking on complex transactions other firms shy away from. It's a rare combination — the ambition and institutional quality of a much larger platform, with the agility and culture of a private, family-stewarded company.
The Development Underwriting Analyst will work side by side with GPG's VP of Development on front-end feasibility underwriting for GPG's ground-up development and redevelopment pipeline — real, funded projects, not theoretical exercises. This is a rare level of direct access for an analyst-level seat: daily exposure to how a senior development leader actually evaluates a deal, with the chance to help shape the models and standards the broader team will use going forward.
As GPG's pipeline grows, so will this role — the Analyst is expected to take on broader responsibilities over time, with a clear runway to grow alongside the platform.
Gillon Property Group expects all employees and leaders within the firm to embody the following values. Stewardship is the lens through which GPG practices all five.
