Job summary

Mini-Circuits in New York, NY, is seeking a qualified tester to perform electrical and RF testing of RF components and assemblies, verify test results, analyze data, and prepare reports in line with established procedures.

You will operate RF test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes and signal generators; set up standard tests, review data, and generate detailed test summaries and block diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the purpose and requirements of different types of test projects, including E-runs, H-runs, Q-runs, new model characterization, Applications test requests, Failure Analysis (FA) requests, and production failure verification.
  • Understand basic parameters and specifications for Mini-Circuits models and know how to locate and interpret applicable specifications.
  • Operate a variety of RF and electronic test equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Noise Figure Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
  • Prepare standard test setups using Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Verify test setups and ensure proper equipment configuration before testing.
  • Independently test passive and active devices for standard parameters using company-approved test programs.
  • Under supervision, perform testing of RF components for non-standard parameters, including tests involving pre-amplifiers, high-power amplifiers, custom modules, and engineering prototypes.
  • Review and analyze test data after test completion and prepare data summaries, customized reports, and block diagrams as required.
  • Identify and report hardware and software issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Assist with various test assignments as directed by the Manager or Supervisor, including HTOL, Burn-in, ESD, IV Curve, and other reliability or characterisation testing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
  • Complete all work in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Position Summary:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
