PPG is seeking a Development Technician for Building Materials in Springdale, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will produce liquid paint samples and support application and testing processes under senior chemists' guidance. You will maintain lab standards, document work, and ensure adherence to EHS practices.
The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, lab experience, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude are also essential for success in this position.
As a Development Technician, Building Materials, you will be responsible for producing liquid paint samples by following formulation recipes and supporting application, testing, and evaluation processes. This role involves sample preparation, coating application, physical testing, and assisting with formulation and application studies under the direction of senior chemists. Additional responsibilities include maintaining lab standards, documenting work, and adhering to EHS practices.
