Job summary

Residing Hope in Deltona, FL is seeking a Development Associate to support donor programs and fundraising operations. This role handles gift processing, donor records, deposits, and inquiries, contributing to a compassionate mission to aid children and families.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, experience in fundraising or development, and proficiency with Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Office. This position offers growth opportunities, benefits, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a development or fundraising setting preferred.
• Data experience with Raiser's Edge or similar platform, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required.

Responsibilities

• Process and record approximately 100-300 gifts weekly and generate gift acknowledgements within 48 hours of gift receipt.
• Create new records, input/update address information, notes, relationships, and other pertinent information in records as needed.
• Welcome occasional visitors and accept deliveries.
• Prepares deposits and codes the information in advance of data-entry; verifies input to ensure accuracy of completed work, and scans/edits for errors during processing.
• Responds to donor and staff inquiries by researching and resolving problems related to transactions handled by the department.
• Identifies extraordinary giving patterns and notifies the Chief Development Officer for follow-up.
• Perform all other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
