Responsibilities

• Process monetary and in-kind fundraising revenue and assist with financial reconciliations.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives including content creation for newsletters, website, and social media.
• Serve as a storyteller by providing tours and attending community events.
• Support leadership in research, cultivation, and solicitation of donors.
• Manage the donor database, Raiser's Edge.
• Execute stewardship communications to meet revenue goals.
• Participate in planning meetings and assist with other projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

The Development Associate is responsible for the following:

• Process monetary and in-kind fundraising revenue and assist with financial reconciliations.
• Coordinate various organizational marketing initiatives including content creation for: newsletters, the website, and social media accounts.
• Serve as a storyteller by providing tours and attending community-based events.
• Support leadership team in research, cultivation, and solicitation of individual and corporate donors.
• Manage the donor database, Raiser’s Edge.
• Execute stewardship process including stewardship communications and donor engagement to meet revenue goals.
• Serve as a member of the fundraising team, participating in regular meetings, the planning and activities, and assisting with other projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Skills and general knowledge normally associated with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with different audiences
• Computer skills including office suite software and donor database software
• Organized, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
