Renown Health Foundation in Reno, Nevada seeks a Development Specialist Events to manage end-to-end fundraising and non-fundraising events, secure corporate sponsorships, and oversee registration, ticketing, volunteers, and financial reporting. The Development Specialist Events position is responsible for all Renown Health Foundation's fundraising and non-fundraising events. In addition, this position will also be responsible for securing corporate sponsorships to offset event costs. The Development Specialist Events position manages end-to-end event details, oversees registration, ticket sales, volunteers, financial reporting, and works closely with Marketing on invitations, campaigns, and press releases.
This position also represents Renown Health and Renown Health Foundation in the community. Without an active Foundation, Renown Health would miss out on a significant source of funding.
The Development Specialist Events position works under the direction of the Senior Director of Community Development. This position is highly visible to Renown Health employees, senior management, physicians, and donors. High standards of courtesy, performance and respect for confidentiality are essential. Independent judgment is required for appropriate decision-making, problem-solving, problem-solving and priority setting.

Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Bachelor's Degree preferred, with emphasis in business administration, or equivalent experience.
Experience: One to two years' experience in fund development, knowledge of donor database/software preferred
