Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising efforts, build donor relationships, and drive mission-driven engagement.

You will research grant opportunities, write proposals and communications, and help manage events and campaigns while maintaining donor data accuracy. The position values strong writing, organization, and teamwork within a dynamic nonprofit environment in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 1–2 years related fundraising experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills; grant writing experience preferred.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Raiser's Edge/database experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support fundraising goals, campaigns, and development strategies.
• Research and identify donor and grant opportunities.
