Development/Security Operations Engineer

The Opportunity: As a Platform thinker and DevSecOps Expert, you will ensure seamless integration of development and operations with a focus on security, operational excellence, and developer experience. Your responsibilities include implementing and maintaining DevOps practices, security measures, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards to improve system reliability, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. DevOps Implementation: Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and implement CI/CD pipelines.
2. Security Measures: Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and implement best security practices throughout development and deployment.
3. Monitoring and Incident Response: Set up monitoring systems and work with incident response teams to address security incidents.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Foster cross-team collaboration and communicate updates on DevOps, security, and compliance initiatives.
5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of processes, security measures, and compliance efforts.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, and security roles.
• Proficiency with Linux administration, scripting languages (Python, Bash), cloud services (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Jenkins, Github Actions).
• Knowledge of security best practices, network troubleshooting, and identity management protocols.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps) are a plus.
