Job summary

Atrium Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a dynamic Manager, Development Sciences Operations to lead outsourced nonclinical study coordination, managing GLP and non-GLP toxicology and PK studies at CROs, plus budget forecasting and invoicing with Finance. This onsite role is based in La Jolla, CA.

The successful candidate will drive study execution, partner with study leads, and ensure timely data delivery to support IND and development programs in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Biological Sciences, Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/CRO with outsourced nonclinical operations and budget management.
• Hands-on experience coordinating GLP/non-GLP toxicology studies.
• Knowledge of ICH guidelines, GLP standards, OECD requirements, and nonclinical drug development.
• CRO/vendor management, budgeting, and contracting experience.
• Financial fluency: budget tracking, PO systems, invoicing, accruals.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smartsheet, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate GLP and non-GLP toxicology and PK studies at CROs across start-up, execution, and close-out.
• Serve as operational point of contact and sponsor representative for outsourced studies with on-site and remote CRO monitoring.
• Track study timelines and budgets against program milestones and manage risk.
• Partner with study leads to ensure timely execution and delivery of results.
• Support study data and report management, quality review, and regulatory submissions as needed.
• CRO qualification, contracting, and vendor-performance oversight with Legal, QA, and Procurement.
• Facilitate communication across CROs and internal functions (toxicology, DMPK, bioanalytical, chemistry/CMC, regulatory, finance, legal, project management).
• Budget tracking, forecasting, PO generation, invoicing, accruals oversight in partnership with Finance.
