Job summary

The Town of Holly Springs is seeking a Development Review Engineer to join the Development Services department. This role oversees, manages, and provides technical guidance and QA/QC during all phases of preliminary plan and construction drawing review and approval to ensure projects comply with Town Standards and Ordinances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with six years’ progressive engineering/construction experience including municipal utilities, transportation, stormwater.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of preliminary plan and construction drawing review to ensure compliance with Town standards and ordinances.
• Supervise Development Plan Reviewers and provide guidance and quality control.
• Coordinate with developers, design professionals, and staff on site design, utilities, transportation, and Town policy issues.
• Prepare and present enginnering reports and guidance to boards and staff.

Education
