City Utilities Engineering in Fort Wayne is seeking an Engineering Representative III to coordinate developer projects, review plans, and guide the Development Services team. You’ll work with developers, property owners, engineers, and City staff to move projects forward and address utility needs.

You will review plans, manage contracts, prepare reports for City boards and public meetings, and help train staff while supporting MS4 initiatives and documentation of records.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Engineering Representative II training and post-training experience or two years of relevant engineering experience desired.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Review sanitary sewer, stormwater, and water plans for compliance; set up project files, prepare comments and letters.
• Coordinate developer contracts, project complaints, petitions, utility research, and communications with developers and property owners.
• Help evaluate system capacity, project costs and funding options; prepare reports and presentations for City boards, Council, and public meetings.
• Support utility standards, MS4 initiatives, and digitization of project records.
• Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and train Engineering Representatives I and II and other staff.
• Oversee the team's daily workflow, assign tasks, and train staff.
