Job summary

Hudson Cooper Search is seeking a seasoned development professional to lead a range of asset types in New York City. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design and permitting through construction and close-out, working closely with leadership and external partners.

You will have managed at least two ground-up residential projects in NYC for a developer/owner, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, with a focus on delivering high-impact

Qualifications

• 7+ years industry experience.
• Experience with NYC-based developer/owner.
• Must have overseen lifecycle of at least two ground-up residential projects in NYC.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• GC/CM experience preferred.
• College degree in Engineering/ Construction/ Architecture preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development lifecycle from design through construction and close-out.
• Coordinate with architects, design teams, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with leadership, external consultants, contractors, and city agencies.
• Deliver major developments across New York City.

Join a busy developer and take the leading role on the development of a range of asset types.

This is the kind of role where you’ll be involved in the full development lifecycle, not just one piece of it.

You’ll work closely with leadership as well as external consultants, contractors, and city agencies to move the project from design and permitting through construction and close-out.

You’ll have been involved in at least two ground-up residential projects, and be comfortable coordinating architects and design teams, engineers, contractors, and internal teams through the different stages of development.

About you:

• 7+ years industry experience
• Experience working with developer/ owner based in NYC

• College degree in Engineering/ Construction/ Architecture preferred but not essential
