Job summary

Greystar seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager in Seattle to oversee large development projects, coordinate planning, budgeting, and scheduling, and report progress to equity partners and executives. You will lead site teams, manage budgets, review bids, and ensure safety and code compliance throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, effective cross-functional communication, and a proactive, self-starting attitude to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on 2+ ground-up construction projects.
• Strong organizational, time management and project management skills to track, report and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors and leaders.
• Critical thinker and self-starter capable of working with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee expansive development and large construction projects by reviewing specs, supervising site personnel, and ensuring safety and code compliance.
• Participate in planning meetings, define scope, timelines, and budget to support on-time, on-budget completion.
• Review bids, negotiate contracts, and arrange materials and services for the project.
• Assess change orders and modify plans and budgets accordingly.
• Monitor construction site work, perform quality inspections, and resolve issues affecting schedule.
• Provide status updates to executives and key business leaders and plan corrective actions as needed.
• Inspect sites, address issues, and approve modifications to plans, schedule, staffing, or budget.
• Complete required reports and perform related duties as assigned.
