Job summary

Auburn University’s Advancement team is seeking a Development Programs Coordinator to help create impactful programs, donor experiences, and fundraising initiatives that advance the university’s mission.

You will coordinate and execute programs and events, support fundraising efforts, build meaningful donor relationships, identify prospective donors, and assist with communications and marketing related to development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience or Master’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience or Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute development programs, services, fundraising initiatives, and special events.
• Plan, organize, and support events with logistics such as venue setup, travel, and vendor needs.
• Develop and manage donor engagement strategies within budget expectations.
• Identify, screen, and cultivate prospective donors including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Support marketing, brochures, newsletters, website content, and news releases related to development programs.
