A leading company in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II to support production efficiency and optimize processes. The role involves analyzing engineering problems, mentoring new engineers, and ensuring compliance with policies. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in manufacturing.
Provides support to the Manufacturing and Product Development organization to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, optimize new and existing processes, and ensure that production goals are met. Monitors and develops the performance of equipment, machines, and tools, and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues. Interfaces with Quality and Research & Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into existing and new manufacturing areas.
Work is closely supervised with specific, detailed instructions. Begins developing a network of internal resources to facilitate task completion. Influence is typically exerted at the peer level. Completes daily work to meet schedules with guidance on prioritization. May exercise authority within pre-established limits; failure to achieve results can be managed without serious impact on schedules or programs.
Bachelor's degree plus 2-5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic understanding of the specified functional area, with limited independent decision-making and problem-solving skills within a quality system environment.
